Description
When I formulate the base of Age-defying creams, I base my choices in low comedogenic carrier oils. This will allow the whole blend to penetrate the skin deeply, without clogging the pores, thus delivering the full range of therapeutic benefits.
Usage: apply day and night on clean skin.
Organic ingredients used to make the base cream include:
– Organic Aloe Vera, Geranium and Roman Chamomile Hydrolats to deeply hydrate, and Vitamin E for antioxidants benefits.
– Organic Borage: repairs the skin barrier, so the other beneficial ingredients that you put on your skin can be kept in, like the hydration coming from the Aloe Vera and hydrosols.
– Organic Jojoba carrier oil: restores suppleness and moisture. Being very similar in chemical composition to sebum, Jojoba is able to balance dry, normal or oily skin. Prevents moisture loss as it is the best occlusive agent.
– Organic Rosehip Seed was found to be a superior facial skin rejuvenation component. It improves the appearance of hyperpigmentation due to sun damage and scar tissue. The oil helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and signs of ageing skin. Rich in Omega3.
– Organic Argan Oil: light and capable of penetrating the skin without feeling greasy. Argan is an excellent oil for use in skincare, it’s an emollient and is very nourishing. It contains vitamin E, polyphenols, squalene, and carotenes. These anti-oxidant compounds protect the skin against free radical damage. It contains Omega 6 and 9. When you add Rosehip into the mix you are bringing the Omega 3 as well, giving the skin a good ratio of omegas. Protects and balances the skin barrier.
– Organic Camellia Oil: rich in antioxidants, gently calming for even the most sensitive skin.
– Mango Butter: It is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants, helping to moisturise, soften and support the skin’s natural barrier. It offers a small amount of natural UV protection.
– Sunflower: Contains vitamins A, B, D, E minerals, calcium, zinc, potassium, iron and phosphorus.
– Vitamin E (Tocopherol): a powerful antioxidant that protects the delicate oils from oxidation.
